RWBY

As some of you may have heard already we are losing RoosterTeeth. Who made RWBY possible as well as the Halo Red Vs Blue possible as well. This is a huge loss for the animation community.

I just finished all nine seasons of RWBY and love the storyline and characters. I am hoping to do a review of RWBY Ice Queendom. As it is more anime focused and would be more in the wheel house for the blog. As you all know this is a anime review blog.

The original RWBY is good but it is in the style of a video game. Which I will be honest it’s not my favorite. I am not big into 3D animation or things close to it. I like my traditional anime and manga. I’m old fashioned haha.

If you haven’t seen RWBY please watch it today as it is on Crunchyroll right now. All 9 seasons are available to watch. Or if you like traditional anime style then check out RWBY Ice Queendom. Whichever will tickle your fancy.

Anyways happy Easter (if you celebrate it) and if not have a happy Sunday! Au revoir for now till the next blog post. Catch you all on the flipside peace! Stay safe.

ASSASSINS PRIDE (Review #2)

In the last episode Kufa was sent to observe Melida and to see if her mana would awaken. Unfortunately it has not and then some creatures attacked Melida. Kufa was originally sent to assassinate her if she could not awaken her mana. He then decided to disobey orders and stepped in to protect her and ask that she entrust her life in his hands. He then helps her to awaken her mana by giving some of his mana to her which is breaking the law. Are you guys ready for a new episode and review?

I won’t lie this anime is kinda of growing on me but it really does remind me of SAO but more of a female cast. Or is it only me? So Melida becomes Kufa’s pupil and has attained the class of Samurai just like Kufa because he shared his mana with her. Now the day has come where Melida is going to be put to the test and to show if she can manifest her mana. Kufa said as much as she has trained she can only manifest about half her mana. I wonder how the tournament will end and will Melida win and without exposing Kufa for sharing his mana with her?

But I must say there is quite the drama going on before the tournament and honestly it’s pretty mean. Crap is going down and Melida is kicking butt and can you tell who I am rooting for to win? It’s a pretty easy guess. Melida exceeded Kufa’s expectations of her and now she looks so happy. Am I sensing a budding romance that we don’t know about yet? Alright guys let me know what you think in the comments below. That is it for this review please stay safe out there and keep watching anime and reading manga. I will see all you in the next review so au revoir for now till next time.

Mahoutsukai no Yome (Review #3)

Hello everyone! I am back with yet another review of this anime. Honestly being three episodes in so far I am loving it. I like that it’s different. Growing up I was always into fantasy and one of my favorite book series has dragons in it. I don’t know I’m weird and just love dragons even to this day. Guess I just find them rather cool. Anyways back to the review and let’s get this started.

I am watching episode three today and I will make a review of it and let me know what you think in the comments. So sit back and grab a cup or something to drink. Maybe also raid the kitchen while you are in there. Then kick back and enjoy this review.

Chise saw the land of the dragons and met an old dragon named Nevin and also met Echos. She got to play with some dragon hatchlings and then get to know Nevin a little more. He went through her memories and then apologized and then he shared his final dream with her. He gave her insight into flying like was in the sky and told her that her name means bird. That she needs to learn to fly and then the dream ended. He slowly turned into a tree. It was a little sad for me to see him become a tree even if the main character didn’t weap all that much, not even a tear. One last thing is that Elias mentioned a honeymoon and then Chise made a comment. “I thought you weren’t being serious” or something like that but I find it cool that he wants to marry her though. Being three episodes in I give this anime a good rating and looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Well, that is it for this review so be sure to come back for the next one in this series of reviews. Until then hang ten and stay cool/warm and don’t eat too many snacks and until the next one au revoir for now.

Mahoutsukai no Yome (Review #2)

I am here with another review of this anime and I will be watching the second episode. I recently found the Dub so I am curious. I am hoping they did a good job on the Dub if not back to the Sub version. I am glad you all could join me. I have been very busy with college and just started a new job. So, I will be even busier than I am now and with that, this might be the only time to catch up on anime and reviews that I have been wanting to do. Alright sit back and get ready for this review and thank you again for joining me on this ride.

In the second episode, we get to meet Silky who happens to be a neighbor and a fairy. She does the cooking and cleaning and laundry so an unofficial maid of sorts I guess you could say. Well, I have been corrected by the show itself she is a landlady, not a maid or servant. I love it when shows correct me lol usually this doesn’t happen but it must have known what I was thinking. So it could correct me itself. A mystery has appeared and what is the secret of Chise and her powers? Elias said she is a Sleigh Beggy I wonder what is the extent of her powers? So many questions let’s see what happens. The show has ended with Chise being kidnapped by a dragon and maybe a ruler of dragons.

I hope you enjoyed this review and I had a lot of fun watching and writing this review. Be sure to come back for the next review of this anime. So, guys hang ten and stay cool/warm and until my next review au revoir for now.

Saint Seiya: Soul of Gold (Review #2)

I have decided to not finish this anime. I mean it’s good and cool that it ties the Astrological Zodiac in it. But watching some of it it’s not my cup of tea. I am sorry if you were looking forward to this anime being reviewed. It’s just not me but be looking for other anime reviews soon. I am watching anime as we speak and also looking for new ones to watch. Also if anyone wants to recommend an anime or manga for me to review. Please leave a comment below and I will do a review on it and also how would you guys feel if I started doing reviews on manga? Alright, guys hang ten and stay cool/warm and until the next review au revoir for now and be safe guys.

Mahoutsukai no Yome (Review #1)

Today we will be getting into Mahoutsukai no Yome (in English The Ancient Magus’ Bride). When I first saw this when it came out, I had means to watch it then, but things got in the way, so it got put on the back burner but now I have the time to watch it. So here we go let’s get into this. The very first episode was interesting. It’s to soon to tell if I love it but it’s growing on me and I like that the guy who is a mage takes and buys a girl and frees her from slavery. I mean how heroic is that? The girl Chise (her last name) is not used to being treated kindly.

As she sees things that others can’t, and they find it weird and kids picked on her. It got bad to the point she thought about killing herself but then a man convinced her otherwise. Then she met the mage and he whisked her away like a princess in a fairy tale and was kind to her. In some ways it reminds me of the Cinderella story and Beauty and The Beast, but the main female character doesn’t see herself as beautiful but rather unfortunate as she can see things that others can’t.

Those two-fairy tales are mashed together and then you have the magic and the mage which is a little different. But that is my opinion so far of this show and like I said it’s too soon to know if I love it but it’s growing on me. It has good promise let’s just leave it at that in a few more eps I should know if I like it or not. Anyways Ladies and Gents I am going to leave this review right here, so stay cool/warm wherever you may be at. Au revoir for now until I see you in the next review be cool people.

Sword Art Online Alicization (Review)

I heard about this anime shortly after Gun Gale (The second season to SAO) had been out for a year or so and before Ordinal Scale (The movie that started this anime’s arc) was released. I was waiting for it to be fully released so I could watch it and I couldn’t wait to watch and do reviews. But at this current moment I am almost done only have 4 episodes left. I binged watched ^^; even with Crunchyroll’s commercials I still managed to get a lot watched lol. I got so used to the commercials I could predict when they were going to pop up so I would mute them and mess around on my phone and then continued watching after they were over. Anyways back to the topic sorry about getting a little off track there for a minute.

I really loved this anime and what it brought to the table and it blew me away and the graphics are just amazing and stunning and can I also say beautiful? I just love newer animes for that reason and they will only get better from there. But be warned this anime is not for kids or the faint of heart. So if you don’t like blood stay away as there is one episode that has a lot of that in it. Just finished this series and loved every minute of it and the end gets bloody you have been warned. To see Kirito wear his outfit from Sword Art Online when he and Asuna were trying to escape with their lives. It made me so happy to see that and brought back memories of when I first watched Sword Art Online. Also reminded me of why I started loving this anime in the first place.

To also see him Duel Wielding again was also amazing. But two characters die and it killed me as I had grown to love them. Watching them die killed me and I felt for Kirito and my heart broke with his. I know it’s just an anime but it was a powerful scene and moment that just hit me with the feels. Anyways the next part of this anime won’t be released till the Fall of this year. So, I am going to have to wait a little for it to come out but I won’t be watching it till it’s completed. Alright my friends stay cool/warm wherever you may be. Till next time and Au revoir for now see you in the next review.

Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works (Review)

I just finished this anime I was watching it for the last few days. I really liked this anime. It was full of action not to mention there was some sword fighting. Can not forget there is also magic! Originally I started this anime in 2015, but life got in the way and also I forgot and got busy. Now I won’t reveal all the secrets of this anime, because it will be better that way. But you should add it to your watch list. This is a another route of the first series which is Fate/Stay Night.

That is the first anime in this series. Now I didn’t start with the first. Which I’ll probably get yelled at for not doing lol. Oh well, I wanted to get through this anime. As I have some others to get to. Hope you enjoy this anime if you watch it. I know I couldn’t stop watching it.

Also if you want more info on this anime just Google it and same with finding out the correct order to watch this anime. As that’s what I did. Sorry if this review is a little short but there are some other animes I want to get to. Alright, guys stay cool/warm till next time. Au revoir for now and I will see you guys in the next and new review.

One of My Favorite Series Has Ended.

Well guys the last chapter of Fairy Tail was released and I read it the day it came out (translated of course). I’m still trying to process all that happend at the end. In some ways I think Nalu (Natsu×Lucy) was confirmed as Natsu said to Lucy that they will be together forever and then leave for a 100 year quest. Gajeel and Levy were confirmed as a couple. I think Hiro planned the ending the way he did so maybe in the future he or someone else can create a sequel.

But hey that’s just my opinion, and I know this arc had a lot of problems but I still liked it. Also Gray and Juvia might have something going on maybe and hopefully. I know there are a lot of people who were mad that Hiro brought back Makarov. In a writer’s point of view I can see why he brought that character back.

So, Fairy Tail all started with Lucy, Natsu, Happy, Makarov etc and eventually over time it gained new members (such as Gajeel and Juvia and many others). Basically Makarov is like the Father to all the original members including Lucy. During the time her father was paying Phantom Lord in trying to get her home. When she found her strenght in her guild and friends who became her family.

I know others will disagree with this theory I have, but if you look at it from my angle it makes sense. Then again some people say that Hiro likes to troll us and mess with his fans. Everyone is always going to have something negative towards a series or anything in general. In my complete and honest opinion I rather like FT even with it’s problems and flaws.

In a weird way I can compare the story line to the guild and all the characters in this manga. If you think about it not one character doesn’t have a problem and or a flaw in them. Basically the story line is much like it’s characters that make up the story line, of course there is going to be problems with it. It’s Fairy Tail for goodness sake!

I loved reading and watching this series I am very sad that it has ended, but I am looking forward to what comes next from Hiro. I am sure it will be just as good as FT if not better and there will be references from FT. So, be looking for those cause I am sure they will be in there at one point or another.

Thank you, Hiro. For making FT and I will admit in my eyes it is a masterpiece and I hope to share it with my kids someday. It all began on a single port called Hargeon where a girl met a guy and then she gained a family in the Fairy Tail Guild. Even with all the laughters and tears that were shed, they still ended up all together again. Now with a new quest on the horizon their journey still continues.

Well guys, what did you think? How do you feel about the ending of FT? Anyways until next time keep reading manga and watching anime. Au revoir for now and stay cool my friends, till next time.

Arms Alchemy (Review)

You would probably know it by Busou Renkin. This anime first aired in 2006 and went on till 2007 when it ended. How in the world did I find this anime? So one time I was in this store and there happened to be some old Shounen Jump Magazines for sale. I purchased them and read through them. I happened to find the manga to this anime, and so I fell in love with the story.

That’s where this leads us to now as I am doing a review for it (the anime). Now we meet Kazuki Muro, and one night he jumps in to save this girl. At that point he dies, and thinking that he was saving a girl that was in distress. Tokiko the girl who he thought was in distress later saves his life. She puts a Kakugane in his heart which is the only other successful work of alchemy.

So then our friend, Kazuki comes back to life. He thinks that him dying and everything else that happened was just a dream. Eventually he joins Tokiko in her mission to exterminate the creatures, which he was trying to save her from. Those creatures are called Homunculus, and they were created by a certain person. Which Kazuki and Tokiko have to stop the person from making more Homunculus.

Well I am going to now wrap things up. Now you have read a review on an anime that I found the manga of as a child. My final verdict is that this anime gets a high recommendation from me. So what are you waiting for go and watch it! Until next time keep reading manga, and watching anime. Remember to stay cool my friends and au revoir for now.

Fairy Tail Friday (The Sequel)

It’s that time again and are you ready for this month’s Fairy Tail Friday? Hopefully you are, because the crowd seems very enthusiastic about Fairy Tail Friday. So I just got done watching an episode of Fairy Tail and it features Wendy. I can honestly say she has gotten a lot stronger throughout the series. When we first met her she was sort of weak and timid and shy. Now she has grown into this strong and independent woman before my very eyes. In this episode she faces off against Sherri’s cousin, Sherria.

sherria_vs-_wendy

The battle is quite epic and Wendy nor Sherria are pulling little kid punches in fact they both are pulling out the stops. Who wins and loses? Well if you want that answer then you will have to watch the episode. Although if you are new to the Fairy Tail world then it’s best you start at episode one. Trust me it’s worth the time to watch this anime. Before we had Wendy’s and Sherria’s fight. Well our Fairy Tail friends had a little showdown with Raven Tail.

Which I also have more info on them to but if you want answers then watch the show. I am aware that I am a tease and meanie. Honestly I don’t like spilling the beans and ruining something for someone. So either watch the show or look the answers up yourself lol. Alright guys that is it for this Fairy Tail Friday. Hopefully you will have some fire in your belly for the next Fairy Tail Friday. Until my next blog post keep reading manga, and watching anime. Stay cool guys and girls and keep that fire in your belly, and get fired up for next month’s Fairy Tail Friday.

It’s Fairy Tail Friday!

So here we are and it’s a Friday. Finally it’s here. What in the world is so special about this Friday? You asked and don’t say I didn’t warn you. Well I am here to talk about everything holy, and things that might be lurking under that old rug of yours. Just kidding I am not here to talk about any of those things. Especially what might be under your rug I would rather not know that.

Alright I want to start something new on my blog and I am going to call it Fairy Tail Friday. Get to the point already as many of you are probably thinking and saying. Okay I will get to the point. So Fairy Tail Friday will be happening at least once a month and I will talk about everything Fairy Tail related until you puke. Just kidding please don’t puke. You can guess what day it’s going to be on.

Yep you are correct it’s always going to be on a Friday and I will be doing this at least one Friday per a month. Some of you have been wondering if I have ever read the manga to Fairy Tail, and or at least watched the anime. The answer to this life long question is yes I have. I believe I began to watch it in 2011 or 2012 and I can’t remember if I found it or someone told me to watch it.

Anyways I have done both reading the manga and watching the anime. Now if want more of Fairy Tail Friday. Well I am sorry, but you are going to have to wait till next month’s Friday to get here. Then maybe I will give you more tidbits. Only way to find out is to be here next month. Until my next blog post keep reading manga, and watching anime. So guys and girls get a fire in your belly. Till next Friday.
